1. Pluck MINI at Pluck the Night - Amsterdam

Pluk de Nacht organizes an annual open-air film festival in Amsterdam, and especially for the youngest visitors, there's Pluk MINI. On Sunday, August 24th, everything will be themed around the classic Popeye the Sailor Man films, complete with a Popeye muscle-up contest, boat crafts, face painting, art projects, and the legendary Pluk MINI disco.
The afternoon coincides with the impressive Sail Out Parade, which passes right by the Stenen Hoofd – wave goodbye! Children will receive headphones for the film screening for a more relaxed viewing experience in the Pluktent.
2. The Outside Cinema - Utrecht

📅 Every Saturday evening from July 12th to the end of August
🎞 Program: Dutch family films such as Kung Fu Panda, Shrek & Paddington

Every Saturday evening, Noordertuin at Steck transforms its garden into an outdoor cinema for all ages. First, a family film at 6:00 PM, followed by a film for adults. You can watch on a charming patio surrounded by plants, with popcorn, fresh snacks, and even daily specials from their own garden.
🎥 For children, the programme includes films such as Kung Fu Panda (9 August), Shrek (16 August) and Paddington (23 August), all spoken in Dutch.
3. Outdoor cinema Vught - Vught
📍 Stadhouderspark, Vught
📅 Saturday, September 13, 2025 - Film starts at 3:00 PM
🎞 A cheerful family film, suitable for children aged 4 - 12
🎟 Admission: €7.50 per person - incl. popcorn for children

On Saturday, September 13th, the Lions Club Vught is hosting its third Outdoor Cinema in Stadhouderspark. The film starts at 3:00 PM and is specifically designed for children aged 4 to 12. Expect a fun afternoon full of humor and fun outdoors.
There will be a variety of food and drink stands with fries, snacks, soft drinks, and of course, popcorn. Bring your own picnic blanket, beanbag chair, or beach chair for that real outdoor cinema experience. Proceeds from the event will go to the Leergeld Foundation, so you'll also be supporting a good cause.
