What size bike helmet does my child need?
A bike helmet from Abus, Bobike, or GO-OFF only provides the promised protection if it fits perfectly. A helmet that is too large can shift, while one that is too small will pinch. You can easily measure the correct size by wrapping a tape measure around your child's head, approximately 2 centimeters above their eyebrows.
- 44 to 49 cm: Often suitable for babies and toddlers (1 to 3 years).
- 46 to 53 cm: Often suitable for preschoolers (3 to 5 years).
- 52 to 58 cm: Often suitable for older children (6 years and up).

Then we recommend replacing a helmet after approximately 3 to 5 years, or of course sooner if your child has outgrown it.
