Over the past few months, we've been busy setting up a new workshop in Rotterdam South. The first Rotterdam children's bikes have been rescued from the scrap heap here for a few weeks now. With the help of Kansen voor West ( Opportunities for West ), we'll be upcycling more than 6,000 abandoned and abandoned bikes from the Rijnmond region here, just a stone's throw from De Kuip stadium, over the next few years, preparing them for a second, third, ninth, or even umpteenth life.
Special thanks to colleague Botros who, through hard work, transformed a building without water, without electricity, without heating, without toilet, without kitchen, without everything, but with thousands of kilos of rubble and junk, into BikeFlip's newest upcycle factory 💪❤️!
