For this age group, 12-inch and 14-inch children's bikes are usually the right choice. What size kids' bike is suitable for a 4-year-old?

Although 4 years of age is a good indication, every child grows at their own pace. That's why at BikeFlip, we primarily look at body length and clothing size to determine the most suitable inch size:

12-inch children's bike: Usually suitable for children with a height of 85 to 100 cm (often clothing size 86 to 104). This size is ideal if your child is just starting to cycle and needs extra stability to be able to reach the ground comfortably with their feet.
14-inch children's bike: Usually suitable for children with a height of 95 to 110 cm (often clothing size 98 to 110). This is a common size for 4-year-olds who are already a bit taller or have already covered a good distance on a balance bike.

Are the bicycles second-hand or new?

BikeFlip bikes are almost always secondhand, making them a sustainable choice. We give existing high-quality bikes a second life by completely refurbishing them, so they ride perfectly again. With our bike subscription, you prevent waste: you simply switch to a larger size as your child grows. This way, your child always enjoys a bike that fits, while you choose the most sustainable option.

What is the minimum duration of the subscription?

The minimum rental period is 3 months. After that, you can cancel your subscription any month without further obligation.
