16 inch or 18 inch: Which size does my 6-year-old need?

Every 6-year-old has a different build. That's why we don't just look at the candles on the cake, but primarily at their height:

The 16 inch (Clothing size 104 - 110):Perfect for the beginner cyclist or the more compact 6-year-old. Gives a lot of confidence because they can easily reach the ground with their feet.
The 18 inch (Clothing size 110 - 116):The ideal intermediate size. For 6-year-olds who are already a bit taller or can already cycle smoothly without training wheels.

Unsure about the size?Upon delivery, we will check together if the bike is properly adjusted.

What does “flip your bike at any time” mean?

With Flippen, you can easily trade in your bike for another. This way, your child can always have the bike that best suits their growth, needs, or new adventures.

Can I get a BikeFlip subscription if I live outside the service area?

Absolutely! Choose a bike online, and we'll have it ready for you in Utrecht the same day. Choose pickup in Amsterdam or Rotterdam, and we'll let you know when it's ready.

How do I flip my bike?

Want to trade in your child's bike? Let us help! Contact us, and we'll help you trade in your current bike for the perfect replacement. Feel free to bring your old bike to our workshop in Utrecht, and we'll make sure your child goes home with the right bike!

What is the minimum rental period?

Our subscription can be canceled monthly after the first three months, so you're not tied to anything long-term. Don't like the bike? No problem, you can exchange it for another one at any time, even during the first three months.

What exactly does the BikeFlip subscription entail?

BikeFlip works like a flexible bike subscription specifically for children. You choose a bike that suits your child's height and age, and pay a fixed monthly fee. Children quickly outgrow their bikes, and with BikeFlip, you can easily exchange them for a larger model whenever needed.

Maintenance and repairs are also included: if something breaks, BikeFlip will repair or replace it at home or at school. This way, you always have a suitable and well-functioning bike, without having to buy a new one every time.
